Weight & Diet Management

Weight loss can only be achieved with a sensible diet and exercise programme and you should always have a check up with your medical doctor before considering any programme.

Mental health issues can often hinder weight loss:

  • Compulsive eating can lead to over eating
  • Comfort eating causes over eating
  • Stress and poor lifestyle cause poor diet balance
  • Stress, mental health and poor motivation can lead to low exercise or activity
  • Motivation and self image may hinder adherence to a sensible diet and exercise routine

Diet and nutrition issues often influence mental health

  • Inflammation reduces nutritional absorbtion
  • Poor diet and poor absorbtion prevent levels of essential nutriments needed for neuro transmitter production
  • Poor micro biome increases inflammation and reduces digestion

Hypnosis, NLP and CBT can assist in adhering to a good, sensible weight loss routine, with a calorie controlled diet and sensible exercise routine. Therapy can help you to overcome emotional barriers and adhere to a sensible plan.
