Stuart initially trained in psychoanalysis, but has since studied a range of different psychotherapy types and talking therapies. Although still analytic at core, Stuart applies psychotherapy in an integrative way, using CBT, psychoanalysis and various forms of psychotherapy and psychology as needed by the client.

Based around CBT based psychological therapies (as recommended by NICE), Stuart provides holistic talking therapy and psychological therapy support for mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, Bipolar, GAD, NEAD, DID, mood disorders, eating disorders and personality disorders.

Stuart also uses deeper analysis and psychotherapy to address developmental, relationship and childhood issues where these have resulted in patterns or symptomatic behaviours or perceptions.

Stuart uses clinical hypnotherapy when providing psychoanalysis for complex cases. He also uses hypnosis for sports hypnosis and performance anxiety. he uses clinical hypnotherapy for less serious emotional issues such as confidence, phobias and self esteem. He also uses clinical hypnotherapy (as recommended by NICE) to treat IBS. Hypnotherapy is also used (as recommended by Anxiety UK) to addess anxiety related issues. NLP (neuro linguistic programming) a modelling offshoot of hypnotherapy and psychotherapy, is used where appropriate in less severe cases.

Stuart has a relevant business degree and am NVQ level 4 T&D award in health education, as well as specific NVQ coaching units and externally accredited life coaching training. He combines these with his therapist training to provide a holistic life coaching model tailored to the needs of individuals or couples.
